Osteosarcoma Support Program

Our 10-year-old lab/pit bull mix was diagnosed in March with osteosarcoma in the right front leg humerus. Not wanting to do chemo and amputation, I reached out online to try to find natural remedies and found Mcdowells. Not only is the osteosarcoma support program wonderful, but the email support from them has been great. Our “baby” was given about 2 months. Four months later, he has almost no noticeable limp, seems to be in no pain, and is always begging for a walk or for his personal favorite-car rides, when he goes back and forth form one side to the other, sticking his head out the windows and barking. Everyone is amazed. We continue using the drops twice daily and send any questions to our support vet tech, who gets back with us promptly. This product is really phenomenal. We haven’t had any X-rays since May, but it appears that the tumor has shrunk. We look forward to many more months, if not years, with our boy; and we give the credit for that all to Mcdowells.

This was (unfortunately) our second time using the Osteosarcoma Support Program. The first time was in 2019 with our GSD/Golden and this time was with our Golden. Max was diagnosed in January and after viewing x-rays confirming the spread of the disease, was given 1-2 months. I immediately purchased this program with hopes that it would prolong his quality of life during his fight against the inevitable. We just lay Max to rest here in May. I must mention that the osteosarcoma program played a significant role in extending my baby's life by nearly one year following her diagnosis. Medical professionals had advised amputation and chemotherapy, stating that she might live for six months to a year if fortunate. However, I chose a holistic approach and enrolled her in the osteosarcoma program, resulting in her well-being for 11 months. Unfortunately, as her tumour continued to grow, it rapidly metastasised to her lungs, ultimately leading to her passing.

We came across McDowell's Herbal treatment for Osteosarcoma exactly one year ago. Our Mr. Gus, a bubbly, playful, sweet Goldendoodle, was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma after we noticed limping in his front leg. This past year has been a rollercoaster, from various vet appointments to a few misdiagnoses (first an Osteosarcoma diagnosis, then a possible frozen shoulder, then back to Osteosarcoma). It, if anything, has given us much appreciation for our goofy and lovable boy.

I am writing this review for those of you who may be going through the same grief-stricken process we did just one year ago, hoping that this, if anything, may instill hope.

We were lucky to find McDowell’s Osteosarcoma Protocol within two weeks our sweet Chiku’s battle with the dreadful disease. The oncologist gave her only two months to live due to advanced stage of her tumor but she is still alive with a good quality of life 7 months later.

We chose not to amputate or treat with chemo or radiation because we did not wish to make her remaining time an endless cycle of medical treatments and the Osteosarcoma Protocol has given her the vitality to still enjoy her life. The effects of this protocol were evident when we received our first order two weeks after her diagnosis. At that point, she had a severe limp and was so exhausted. Within a day of starting the protocol she was playing, laughing and eating like a puppy!

We have had great progress with the program after 6 weeks and have not had to rely on any medication from the vet for a few weeks.

Churchill began to limp, noticed this and treated it by keeping him calm and quiet for a few days and treating for pain(thought maybe a strained muscle or similar). Got a little better initially but came back with avengeance a week later. Took him to the vet and were told he had cancer. We have learned over the years that treating with Chemo drugs or even letting air into the "area" to test is a bad idea, so we immediately called out Homeopath and he started us on a protocol, but this wasn't enough for me!! I am (as most of us dog lovers are) tired or loosing my dogs to cancer!!! I feed a raw diet with bone broth and raw meaty bones. We treat with homeopathy and don't use chemicals on our yard or in our home but yet this keeps coming up! IM DONE!! So, I started him on Goldenseal, plenty of liquid vitamins, liquid mushroom supplements and turmeric paste. I started giving him home grown sprouts and started researching!!! THEN I FOUND McDOWELLS!! I am so excited to try this, I received this yesterday evening and he had his seconded dose this morning!! I will keep you posted on his pathway to recovery!! I am hopeful and he is too!!! She has really shown quite a bit of improvement by the first week. This was the best that we've seen her move since she started limping. We are only about a month in. Getting ready to order our 2nd set.

This will be our 6th order since my beautiful staffy Luxe was diagnosed with Osteosarcoma in her elbow. At the time she could barely put weight on it and was hopping around on 3 legs. She was given 2-4 months, max 6 months. It has been 17months and she is doing great, she is happy, has a little run/walk. I try not to let her overdo it, you really wouldn't think she has anything wrong. Don't hesitate on this and know its worth every cent. The vet also had her on anti-inflammatories that were $100per month, I stopped them after 3 months, she also has a grain free diet, raw meat and veggies. Can't thank McDowells enough for giving her so much more time with us.
