"We are most grateful to McDowells Herbal treatments for the support you have given us. Within 12 months from acquiring Cassie (2006) she commenced having epileptic seizures, which was very scary. The local veterinary doctor, at that time, prescribed a chemical treatment that was very demanding in that the dosage had to be administered to Cassie at precisely that same time twice every day, without any real assurance that it would work. Thankfully you were able to provide a herbal solution without the lifelong demands and time dosage constraints. Cassie has not had a seizures in the last 4 years."

Definitely a miracle mix!
Review byDianne
Max has been on the Epilepsy Mix since last December. His grand mal seizures were occurring every 3 months. Since being on this mix he has had only 1 bout of the grand mal seizures in early August. The product has not only changed his life but also ours.

Seems to Work
Review byDrey
My German Shepherd starting having grand mal seizures when he turned 6. They seemed to be happening around once a month. I found this medication and give it to him daily along with hemp oil and maritime pine bark extract and since then the longest we’ve been without a seizure was 3 months. It has seemed to reduce the frequency he gets them so I’ll continue him on this treatment rather then putting him on Keppra.

Dog seizures - experience with the epilepsy mix
Review byIrene
Our 3.5 year old groodle started having seizures that got him admitted twice which is quite costly and on discharge he ends up getting topped up with meds that make him groggy and he has behaviour changes. We feel he does not like the meds and we don't as well. In my desperation I searched google for an Australian based herbal remedy and I found this Epilepsy Mix. We're also using the Episodic Mix. He is also now on Keppra. Supposed to be 750mg 3x a day and we found he is drowsy and has dry retching. Just not our beautiful dog anymore. We decided to decrease the dose and give epilepsy mix 2x a day. He continued to have grand mal and sometimes focal/partial seizures at least once a week. It did not decrease the frequency. Prior to all meds and herbal tx we changed his diet to keto diet, gave him MCT and Hemp oils. We continued with this diet plus Keppra plus epilepsy mix/episodic mix. Anyone with a pet who has seizures would know that it is quite stressful. I gave 5 star rating to this product because we think it has prevented our dog's admission to vet hospital. He was admitted before because he had 5 lots of grand mal seizures in less than 24 hrs and he could not recover from it, he was too weak even to walk. It's now almost 2 months since his last admission (he has been having seizures for 6 mos). We are grateful there are good quality products like this in Australia. We are continuing to look for that something that will ease off his seizures. We will continue to use Epilepsy mix and Episodic mix. We are always open to any suggestions. Thank you McDowells!

A miracle mix!
Review byDianne
Our Kelpie Max has been on the Epilepsy Mix since December. We were hoping that it would help with his grand mal seizures and it definitely has. Since starting this mix Max has had a very minor seizure in late January and one in late March. The last seizure was short and he recovered very quickly. We are so grateful that we found this product.

Hopeful that it's a miracle mix.
Review byDianne
Ordered the Epilepsy mix for our Kelpie after he went through 2 hours of grand mal seizures in December. The epilepsy mix is being used in conjunction with the Conditioning mix and CBD drops. Max has been on the mix now for almost 7 weeks. Since starting the mix, he has had one very minor seizure in the middle of the night. We could only tell by the bark and a minor mess inside. His recovery was super quick. Whilst it is early days we are very optimistic and thrilled with his improvement so far.

Review of Epilepsy Mix for our Labrador
Review byRosemary
Penny's a 4 year old lLabrador who had her first seizure early in March - a big grand mal. Within 2 weeks we had her on Epilepsy Mix. Her second was a month later and about 1/4 as bad. The third was 2 weeks later and a petit mal. On the advice of the naturopath at McDowels we've increased the drops from 15 to 25. Two weeks free at this time. The support from McDowells is excellent.
