Miliary Dermatitis

We have been battling Eddie's skin issues for a couple of years, he was scabby, moth eaten and looked like a neglected street cat.
It's now been 12 weeks plus on this herbal mixture and he has put on weight, his ginger coat is luxurious once again. He does have a few scabs, but we a re a million miles from where we were.

My cat has been a hyper-groomer for many years, lately she has licked herself raw. We've used this with the blood cleanser and the Miliary Dermatitis ointment for the past 6 weeks and she is a lot better. Definitely a big improvement so far

One of our cats, Jaffa, came to live at our house about 2 years ago! It was entirely his choice - he used to live a 'few doors down' but decided our place was better! Our two cats were (and still are) quite disgusted but he was persistent! As he came to us as a 'visitor' we really did not know his history but he has always been a 'scabby cat' ... and until we had come to terms with him actually being 'our cat' we were reluctant to take his care on! Last year, his scabs were really bad especially at the base of his tail and he was almost bald there - an ugly sight! We took him to the vets and he said that he "'must not have been treated well when young" and would need to take Prednisolone for the rest of his life! We took the first bottle of tablets for him as he was in a bad way and they did clear up his skin but as soon as they were finished it crept back again and he once again became scabby! I really didn't want to keep him on Prednisolone forever, knowing that this could cause umpteen other health problems, so I wondered if cats could take herbs and contacted Catherine, who told me he could take a course of 'Blood Cleansing' herbs and that Jaffa had what is called Feline Miliary Dermatitis. Jaffa was once again in a bad way when I first ordered the herbs (my efforts at trying to keep the scabs down using special food, Megaderm and Frontline had failed dismally!) - I would say within 4 weeks of him being on the herbs he was like a new cat ... there is not a scab in sight and his fur looks gorgeous! He also seems happier in himself! (Still our cats aren't happy about him joining our family but they are getting used to it !). He was not happy about the taste of the herbs at first but now he hardly seems to notice it in his food (I still have half a bottle left!). Many thanks!
