Great product

Second time I’ve purchased this product and very impressed. Nipped kennel cough in the bud and did not progress. Also helped my older dog with her breathing problems … a side benefit.

Our dogs contracted kennel cough from a visitors dog
Review by
We had a visitor stay with us for a couple of weeks, not long prior their dog had been recovered from a shelter after being stolen from their car in inner-city Melbourne. The kelpie gave the cough to our three dogs, and I took the dogs to the vet to get antibiotics just incase. not long after starting them on the tonic, their coughs became less intense and they were able to hold their meals down. It's now completely gone and full of vitality in a couple weeks. Did not have to use the meds. Very happy our three are better as the vet said it can be fatal. Thank you Mcdowells.

Ben's cough
Review by
I cannot believe what happened!

On Saturday July 17 I took my dog, Ben, back to the Vet because his cough just would not get better. I had already ordered your mixture but it had yet to arrive.

The Vet was so ambiguous about Ben's cough, he said it is very hard to treat bronchitis without knowing the cause. He put Ben back on antibiotics and a bronchiodialater. I left his office feeling very apprehensive. I did not feel comfortable about the drugs and he did not offer much encouragement with regard to a cure.

I came home and your kennel cough mixture was in my mail box. I decided to give it to Ben for two weeks and if I saw no improvement I would follow through with the conventional medications. I gave Ben his first dose on Sat. afternoon and another dose at 7:00am this morning. He is back to the dog I know! He is running and playing with our other dog, barking, going up and down the stairs without coughing. He is symptom free!

I can not believe this has happened so quickly. I am so sorry I live so far from you, I would like to thank you with a big hug. It means so much to me to have Ben back. How long should I keep Ben on the mixture? I know you asked me to write and tell you how he was doing after he was on the mixture for four weeks. Who would have thought one day on your treatment would make this much difference. How can I thank you? Words just don't seem like enough. Thank you so very, very much.
Sincerely,
Elizabeth Alexander

Precious and Kennel Cough
Review by
"I can't thank you enough for your promptness and effective treatments. It has been a month since I started Precious on your Kennel Cough formula, and she is doing very well. Almost immediately, I could tell the depth of her cough was lessening. She has steadily improved to where she has just a slight light cough once in awhile. Her breathing is normal, with no struggling to get air in her lungs. She is active and peppy again. What a difference!

I am continuing to give her the formula, as you suggested. She loves the taste also, which really surprised me. When I first opened it, and smelled how strong it was, I thought she would give me that "You've got to be kidding" look. She gulped it down.
I feel very fortunate to have found you!
Thank you,
Dori"

Maremmas
Review by
"Dear McDowells Herbal Treatments,

We vaccinate our dogs however, I do not have them vaccinated against kennel cough due to the fact that 2 of our dogs are maremma sheepdogs and do not leave the property. Unfortunately a young Staffordshire pup that was staying with us at the time contracted kennel cough and it went through the other 3 dogs very quickly.

I immediately browsed through your website and ordered the Kennel Cough Mixture and within 4-6 weeks all 4 dogs overcame the disorder. The first to recoup was Bo, the little Staffy, then Otto, my young German Shepherd. The maremmas were the last to recoup but all the dogs were well over it within 6 weeks.

The biggest issue I thought I would have was to actually give the maremmas the tonic but I placed it in their food and they love their food so we had no dramas on that front either.

I can honestly recommend the Kennel Cough Tonic. As a matter of fact , I purchased some and sent it to a friend in the US and she will be purchasing more of it to keep on hand!

All Are Well Now After Kennel Cough Mix.

Thank you for the wonderful herbs. You promote a healthy and alternative approach for dealing with illness in both animals and humans.

Regards
Maria Webb

Case from a kill shelter
Review by
I have had an outbreak of an intense case of kennel cough because of taking in a dog from a high 'kill shelter'. Most of my dogs are protected by a homeopathic kennel cough nosode, so I never worry about those, but the ones who are rescues and don't stay long...I worry about. I have come across a way of working with this new severe strain...
I use a combination of McDowell's mixes including:-
* Kennel Cough Mixture
* Conditioning Formula
* Maritime Pine Bark
Using all three of these works wonders. The kennel cough herb mixture was not doing the job alone because of the severity of the cases. The inflammation lasts for one month even with high powered antibiotics.....but by using the combination above it only lasts one week.
Whoopee!
I will be ordering again this coming week.
Regards,
Karen

Zac's cough
Review by
"I'd just like to give you some feedback on the Kennel Cough Mixture I bought off you for my Jack Russell (Zac).
Looks like it has cured his kennel cough. I'm still bringing him off the mixture very slowly and his cough has gone.
I have had Zac on two courses of the mixture, the first time, after Zac's cough had cleared, I stopped given it to him, without bringing him slowly of it. His cough came back in a couple of days so I put him back on the mixture and his cough cleared again. I have been taking Zac off the mixture for a couple of months now and it looks like the cough has finally gone.
Thanks for your help!"

KLAY BEATS CHRONIC KENNEL COUGH
Review by
Klay is a three year old Border Collie who plays the game of Flyball. As this is a high performance sport and one that is very demanding on the dogs, I ensure that Klay is at his optimum fitness. Every year of his life, Klay has come down with Kennel Cough. The first year was only a mild case, however, when he was two he developed severe bronchitis, which put him out of action for quite a while. Last year Klay yet again developed Kennel Cough though this time he ended up with pneumonia. This was a very terrifying experience for me, the thought of part of Klay’s lungs dying due to what is normally the equivalent of the common cold in humans was just devastating. After his third course of antibiotics and a chest x-ray, I decided to go onto an American chat line for Flyball to see if others had the same experience. One of the members emailed me privately with a web site address for McDowell's Herbal Traetments in Australia. I checked it out and was immediately impressed with what I read and also with the response I received from the team. I ordered the Kennel Cough mixture and within a week Klay had improved dramatically. If I had known about this product earlier, Klay would not have had to endure three months of no exercise, can you imagine a Border Collie at the end of this? Kennel Cough is going around yet again, and he has shown signs of it, however, it is so mild, he has only coughed approximately five times and is still quite happy within himself, so I have put Klay back on the mixture. I am just so relieved, this is such a dramatic improvement on the last two times I had encountered it, and next time I will have him on it when I “hear” of it going around. Thank you to McDowell's Herabl Treatments for taking the time to respond to my initial query, and for giving me a natural aid to help him get through this with as little impact on his body as possible.
