Indigestion, also known as reflux, is when the stomach contents come up into the oesophagus. This can cause pain, burning and discomfort in the middle of the chest. The pain can be so severe that it can be confused with a heart attack.
This can occur due to weakness and loss of integrity of the pyloric sphincter, large meals that increase the pressure on the sphincter and even stress which can exacerbate the symptoms.
This mix is formulated to use herbs traditionally used to support digestion, strengthen and tone the sphincter whilst also supporting the nervous system.
This is best taken alongside some Slippery Elm to help soothe and heal the oesophagus.
Slippery Elm provides a protective lining to the mucosal lining of the oesophagus and stomach.
