Description / Hiatal Hernia
The hiatal hernia is a pocket of the stomach that has gone up into the hiatal space. There can be two types of hiatal hernias where there is a sliding hernia, where part of the stomach can go up into the hiatus and then come back down again. There can also be a paraoesophageal hernia, where the tissue can bulge up in the space and can get caught or strangulated.
This mix contains herbs traditionally used to support healing of a Hiatal Hernia, and to support the relaxation of the nervous system response involved in the reflux response. This also includes herbs to help tone tissue and the sphincters which hold the acid into the stomach.
