A herniated disc occurs when there is a portion of the disc which pushes through and protrudes out. This is also known as a bulging or slipped disc. This can occur due to trauma causing an acute onset, or chronic issues that have gradually eroded the integrity of the disk to cause this breakdown.
This mix contains herbs traditionally used to support the connective tissues and strengthen and support these discs.
We have two formulations - one for acute onset with trauma - and one for chronic issues, which contains additional herbs traditionally used in conditions with chronic pain and inflammation as part of the presentation.

Post surgery herniated disc and disc bulge

I had L5- S1 herniated disc had surgery in 2022 and had to take pain medication to help with little niggling from my back, when I was active around the house or walking the dog. When I started looking into natural remedies a friend had suggested McDowells and I haven't turned 'back' since. It makes a complete difference in my day and I can actually feel the change when I don't take it and it's all natural. I highly recommend this and have suggested it to friends and family.
