Heart Rescue

My boy is part way through his second bottle of heart rescue now. It took some tweaking in the beginning. We had to increase his dose, as recommended by the vet, which was higher than the bottle indicated, to get him results. Sometimes he takes it alongside another heart/inflammatory tablet, as has also been recommended. Now that he’s been on it a few months now and we found the right dose he’s been doing much better. Since being on the formula, he’s like a puppy again. His energy is fantastic, he’s happy and playful and active. It’s bought him to life. I don’t notice any of his heart symptoms anymore. I did have issues with him missing doses sometimes due to the heat or due to reduced appetite as he’s gotten older however as long as I give the medicine in a tasty treat before his meal then he gets the correct amount of medicine and he doesn’t have any issues. He likes having the medicine in chicken necks. I can see how it’s going to prolong his life compared to mainstream medicine. He doesn’t come to me looking for comfort as much, which I noticed would happen when I could feel his heart racing so I’m just glad he doesn’t have that anxiety anymore associated with the weakened heart function he previously had before started the medicine. Also, it may seem expensive but you only use a few drops per day and it does last a while.

I used Mcdowells 13-14 years ago for heart failure in my staffy. Sadly, my current staffy who is almost 11 is also in the verrrry early stage of heart failure. Within 2 nights of using the 3 products recommended, I had my girl back. She was playing with her toys again, giving me a mouthful of backchat and generally full of zest.

I wasn’t certain she’d take any of the three products recommended, although surprisingly she wasn’t phased. I started slowly with the drops, starting on 6 of each in her dinner and increased them by a drop each night until I got to the recommended dose. Only negative is that I didn’t receive the email stating how many drops of each product I should be giving her which wasn’t sent.

Cannot recommend this company and their products highly enough! Always super fast posting too!

Our little dog has stage 3 heart failure and due to having so much medication over the years we wanted him to have something natural. He had a raspy cough and struggled to breathe, even passing out from lack of oxygen with a coughing fit. We gave him the heart repair mix and within days the raspy cough eased. It has now been close to a month and he has lots of energy again and only the occasional little cough. He is definitely much happier. Thank you for creating such a fantastic product.

My only complaint to any of their products is I wish could be a little less expensive, but that being said this product as well as any of the others I have used is excellent. My 8 year old doxie is also taking this for her heart and liver issues. No side effects, she is happy and more active and I just know that these remedies will extend her life as they did for the other doxies that we have treated with McDowell mixes. They are the best out there in my opinion.

I was recommended to try this by the lovely Kate at McDowell's after telling her my dogs symptoms and vet's analysis.
My dog had suffered cancer and then was diagnosed at 7years old with an enlarged heart that was pushing the trachea up. (possibly had for longer but had gone unnoticed as it had affected her before)
I would lay awake at night to her heavy, uneven and raspy breathing and had to limit her exercise due to her getting out of breath & tiring easily due to the enlarged heart.
After a few weeks on the heart repair (also diet change to BARF even though she was not overweight), The difference was quite dramatic. She has now been on it for 6 months.
She is sleeping much sounder and rarely do I hear the raspy noise. She also has her energy and spark back now.
We are back walking a few klms a day again (which she loves) without tiring out.
I will continue her on the heart repair and the new diet as I do believe that it has made quite a difference and also monitor and consult with both my vet and Kate if anything needs to be tweaked. My wonderful furry friend is back to vet checks 6 monthly checks now after being fortnightly & monthly in the beginning and the vet has been very happy with her progress.
(Initially not wanting to go down the path of prescribing any drugs until her symptoms got worse).
I am so glad I came across McDowell's treatments as I didn't really want to wait until a decline to do something if there was something that may prevent it from getting worse.

This product is so perfect for dogs in the USA that have had issues involving their teeth and also heartworm infestation. I always put them on this product and then switch to the heart support product.

We noticed that our 13 year old Jack Russell terrier, Harry, was not himself. In the past, his idea of a good walk was to rush everywhere, investigating everything.
