Diabetes

Ramona is my 21 year old calico cat and she's was in pretty good health until last year. I started noticing that she was urinating more often and drinking a great deal of water but a vet I took her to stated that this is normal for older cats on their way out. She was streadily getting worse (loose and discolored fur, losing weight, eye problems) in spite of changes to her diet and about twelve weeks ago I took her to another vet who ran tests and said that she probably had diabetes but at her age it really was not worth putting her through all the pain of injections so that it would be best to put her down when she became sicker. I decided to try using McDowell's Herbal Treatments Feline Diabetes Mix and she has been on it for about 9 weeks now. She has made a pretty amazing recovery because her fur has regrown and almost returned to its orginal color, she doesn't demand food as much as she used to and she's gained back most of her weight. She's sleeping a lot and I know she'll be leaving me soon but thanks to the Diabetes Mix she is as comfortable as she can be and without the pain she was experiencing before I started the treatment.
