Description / Coeliac Disease
Coeliac disease is a bowel disease which is triggered by the consumption of gluten proteins, which trigger an autoimmune attack on the lining of the small intestine. This can cause significant damage to the mucosal lining of the intestinal wall and interfere with absorption and assimilation of nutrients.
This herb mix contains herbs which may help to support the regeneration and repair of the small intestine. It is essential that this is used in conjunction with a strict gluten free diet.
I also like to use this alongside Slippery Elm -One dessertspoon daily mixed into a paste with cold Chamomile Tea and taken for a continuous period of 12 weeks. Slippery Elm provides a protective lining to the mucosal lining of the gastrointestinal tract.
