I bought this for my mare for hind gut issues. She was nippy to girth up, sensitive to touch the under belly and would not canter right lead. I bought this as I had so much success with McDowells herbals products previously, I had to try this. It did not disappoint!! The vet offered me two options for ulcers, each costing $600 and lots of daily effort for a month to administer. The vet also agreed on giving McDowell's Herbal alternative a go for 2 weeks first.
Well, it didn't take that long to see the positive difference in my horse.
Before it arrived, he wouldn't let me touch anywhere except his tail and forelock. The kit arrived super quickly and within 10-12 days he was back to his old self. So it was much cheaper than either of the vet's options, and far easier to administer, directly into the feed.
