Description / Castor oil
Our organic castor oil is hexane free and does not undergo a solvent extraction process.
Castor oil has many beneficial properties and applications.
It can be used for both soothing and lubricating irritated eyes and so is a complementary add-on to our EyeWash – especially for dry eye.
Due to it’s emollient and antibacterial properties we sometimes recommend it’s use along with an appropriate and recommended herbal extract to be applied topically to skin lesions.
Can also be used for the fungal infections under finger and toenails.
Can be used in certain skin conditions to moisturise and to aid in the healing process.
The ricinoleic acid which is a major component of Castor oil exhibits both anti-inflammatory and analgesic effects.
Encourages hair growth/regrowth.
