Candida infection, commonly known as thrush is a proliferation of the yeast candida albicans. In a healthy system, this is single-celled yeast and lives in balance as part of the natural microbiome in the body. When there is an imbalance in the system or disruption to the microbiome this can overwhelm the immune system, allowing it to proliferate and grow into a multicellular organism which causes irritation, inflammation and can cause localised disease such as vaginal or oral thrush, increase in urinary tract infection and in more severe cases this can become a systemic infection within the GI tract.
This mix helps to support the immune system to fight the fungal infection. This also contains herbs that are traditionally used as antifungal agents and tissue cleansers.
